Ride the rail to Spencer Glacier and steal away on a gentle float tour among the icebergs at Spencer Lake and down the Placer River.  Professional guides lead the trip.  Raingear and rubber boats are provided. Tour GD-1C - Glacier Discovery Train to Grandview

Day 1

Explore Spencer Lake in a modern version of an Alaska Native canoe. You'll paddle these sleek and elegant boats to the face of Spencer Glacier and even stop on shore for a short hike up to the glacier. Day 1

Tour OT-6 - FLAGSTOP RAIL AND SUSITNA RIVER FLOAT

Day 1

Ride the Hurricane Turn, the local flagstop train, to Chase and enjoy a gentle float trip back to Talkeetna with Denali View Rafting. The glacial fed river meanders through wilderness areas with magnificent views of Mt. Mckinley, weather permitting. Your guide will make stops along the way to show you salmon spawning areas, walk on a glacial silt island, and exploere the flora and fauna of the area. Watch for bear, bald eagles, beavers, fox, and moose as you float the river. Lunch, snacks, refreshments and rain gear are provided.
