Summer Day Tours
Whether you go by air or by land, no Alaska travel experience would be complete without crossing the Arctic Circle. The land tour travels north from Fairbanks in the comfort of a mini-bus or van. Your journey begins on the Dalton Highway, also referred to as the Haul Road. The Dalton Highway was constructed to transport or haul supplies and materials to Prudhoe Bay during the construction of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. The road trip now allows visitors a firsthand view of remarkable wilderness scenery. Cross the Arctic Circle and the Yukon River and explore the wonders of Alaska's Arctic.
This tour offers several options. You may drive up and back or you can drive one-way and fly one-way. The drive-drive tour departs Fairbanks at 6:30 am - 8 am and returns between 10 - 11 pm. The drive-fly tour departs Fairbanks at 1:00 pm and returns between midnight and 1:00 am. If you are short on time, there is also a fly-fly options that leaves at 1:30 pm and returns at 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
