Dredge Tours--Gold Panning

This national historic site is the only dredge in Alaska open to the public. It shows the equipment used to mine more than 7.5 million ounces of gold from Goldstream and Engineer Creeks.

Located in Fox Alaska, just 10 mile drive north on the Steese Highway. After you enjoy a delicious lunch you can pan for gold then take the very interesting tour of the Gold Dredge #8. Tour last 1.5 Hours plus Panning for Gold.

Don't forget the stop and view the Alyeska Pipeline right there in Fox on the Steese Highway
