Snow shoeing Adventure (5 Hours)
The tour begins with pick up around 11:00 am at your hotel or bed & breakfast. Snow shoeing areas are 45 minutes to 1 hour from town and will depend on current weather conditions. Under clear and calm conditions the higher hills will supply great views in addition to snow shoeing fun. If it's snowing or windy, the Alaskan Boreal Forest in lower lying areas will provide cover and perfect surroundings. Your actual snow shoeing adventure will last about 3 hours. We will start on a trail in order for you to get comfortable on snowshoes. Once at ease, we can cut cross-country like the trappers in the olden days to explore the Alaskan wilderness.
Enjoy a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate on your return drive back to town. expect to be back at your accommodations around 4:00 pm. Snowshoes and poles will be provided.
